Starting esthetician school

Hi everyone! I just committed to a 5 month esthetician program starting May 18th. I’m currently getting my associates degree in nursing, but my clinicals don’t start until August 2027. My dream is nurse injecting anyways and I’m fortunate to have support from my mom, so instead of doing nothing for a year I thought it’d be a good idea to get my esthetician license and then complete different certifications - just kickstart my career. Any certifications you guys recommend/where to find courses for, say, makeup artistry, microblading, brow lamination, etc?

I’m interested in how everyone’s school experience was and what I should expect. For reference, I’m 20F, located in Philly suburbs, mainly interested in freelance makeup artistry and (ideally) would rent my own studio where I do a variety of different services. NO interest in hair lol.

If anyone has any advice on what I can do now to help myself in the future, especially as I’d love to start freelance makeup work now but I don’t really know how to build clientele, I’d greatly appreciate it.
