Little luxuries that make great gifts!(suggestions please)

I'm turning 30!!

All my life I've hated having a birthday and it'll probably be a lonely one however my only close family no matter how small in numbers are the best, they always ask me what I want.

Every year my mind goes completely blank even though I see things and say I'm going to remember and never do! Also the fact I have shame for asking for things so avoid it.

I'm a pretty basic girly so the typical things that again I can't think of right now but love sentimental too.
I can't get over someone spending their hard earned money on me but if I don't pick they'll do it anyway and I'd rather love it than them waste the money.

I love gifting "bits" that are great brands and that you wouldn't pick up yourself because of the price tag etc but if you're gifted it, it's great.
