Should I just give up?

| As someone who was born in the late 80’s.. by 2003 I of course fell into the trap of plucking my eyebrows into oblivion. An age old story, I know! At one point, I swear I had two hairs for a whole brow!!! I did this for years. It wasn’t until 2010 that I started trying to grow them back. I kept giving up and plucking them off. So it’s been a vicious cycle for 23 years. Once 2020 came, I used lockdown to try and grow my brows back. And I definitely made progress. I didn’t touch them for about 7 months! But then I agreed to try brow lamination (hate it) and so the cycle of constant waxing and plucking continued.. I’m worried I’ve completely killed off my follicles! I’m 3 months into a new growing out stage now and this is as far as I’ve got. I rub a mix of Rosemary & Vitamin E oil onto my brows daily. But I’ve only been doing this as of recently. Maybe a week. Before this, I was using castor oil every night and I’ve got to the point now where I actually put up with this mess as I love to see growth. Not that there’s much. It’s so damn slow! And they aren’t growing in the places I need them to! Not that I can see anyway! And I swear they’re a totally different shape to each other! So do I just give up now and slap myself silly over the permanent damage I did, or shall I keep going for another couple months? I am aware they have been a LOT worse, and I’m aware I’m lucky I’ve got this far. But I’d love to hear your stories 💛 [link] [comments] |
