The climate crisis is just the most prominent of a complex of global sustainability crises. The next most terrifying crisis is novel pollutants. All we know is that they are extremely bad. Unlike other sustainability crises, with novel pollutants, we have no idea how bad the situation is nor how many points of no return we have crossed. The fashion industry is one of the poster children for this crisis.
