What are these? Saint Andrew/Kingston, Jamaica

| first picture is a fish in a tide pool on the beach, second photo is a shrimp found in a freshwater mountain creek in Jamaica. Sorry for such bad photos, my camera doesn’t focus well. And yes these were both found in Kingston / Saint Andrew parish. What are they, respectively? I figured the second one was some sort of ghost shrimp, but I’m unsure if they’re actually native to the caribbean. Besides that, can anyone point me to a guide on aquatic life in Jamaica? My family is from there and I hope to explore more of the aquatic life there [link] [comments] |
