Non-cloud based digital photo frame recommendations

I guess I shouldn't be very surprised in this age of enshittification, but I'm kind of shocked at how hard it is to find a good digital photo frame that;

• you can store photos locally on an SD card/micro SD/flash storage instead of the cloud
• don't need to use an app or proprietary software
• don't need to pay a monthly subscription

and I should also mention that I'm not trying to DIY it with a screen/raspberry pi, which seems like the only option at this point.
