False lashes(wispies) I want to know where people put their lashes to apply glue

I hear all these issues with applying the lashes to their eyelids, but my issue is putting the glue on so they don't stick to the table, tweezers,ect. I would love tips and tricks of how you do that because I have lashes scattered all over held up with who knows what. OR is it better to get pre glued. Thank you
